An elegant, high performance window system, built with high-end material and accessories, designed to enhance the appearance and energy efficiency of any home for years to come. Using the highest quality PVC resins and state-of-the-art extrusion technology, the 4000 and 2000 series are made with distinctive gloss finish profiles specially designed to resist damage from dust and harmful UV rays.

In order to meet the needs of a wide variety of situations, the 4000 and 2000 series offer different choices in regard to frame thickness and finishing options. Before choosing the right frame depth one must consider the importance of the positioning of the window with-in the wall cavity. Proper placement will have a positive effect on the surface temperature of the glass thereby increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of condensation.

Choice of 4 frames for more flexibility to suit the needs of our customers, either for renovation, a new house or for the self-builder;
PVC materials are extruded into unique multi-chambered designed profiles providing maximum insulation benefits;
Gloss finish to provide ultimate resistance against airborne polluants and prevent dust from sticking to surface;
7/8" double insulated glass unit or optional 1 1/4" triple insulated glass for optimum insulation;
The screen will keep out even the smallest flies with the black fiberglass mesh and a new coextruded aluminum frame, so without showing corners. Furthermore, the elimination of the black handles makes it look better;
Installation clips attached makes the installation easier;
Structural construction for larger viewing area or modular for versatility;

Lock and Operator

Ferco multi-point locking handle for maximum weather tightness standard with all of our awning windows;
Fitted with a heavy-duty Truth operator from the Encore series and a white retractable Tango style handle;
Hinged on the side, allows opening from the bottom;

Triple seal protection

Durable, high quality gaskets engineered to retain their flexibility even in the harshest North American climates guarantee the triple seal protection. On the inside, there are two co-extruded bulb seals as integral components of the window sash. On the outside, a brush weatherstripping, completes the triple seal protection. These gaskets will not stretch or shrink, yet are completely replacable in the event of accidental dammage;

Sash and Thermo moulding

Colonial sash enhances window’s beauty and style;
Interior glazing stop for optimum security. If broken, the thermopane can be replaced from the inside by removing the trim;

4402 – 4 5/8" Frame. Ideal for new construction or retrofit with installation must be done from the inside of the building

Double built-in 1/2" & 3/4" drywall return for easy interior jamb extension installation;
Thermo pane located over 25 % further inside the wall than any 3-1/4’’ frame. This allows for increased wind load resistance, optimum thermal performance and reduced condensation risk;
Designed to accept multiple interior accessories and brickmould;

4406 – 4 5/8" Frame with integrated brickmould. A good choice when high quality, performance and competitive pricing are dominant factors

Integrated brickmould adds strength and eliminates the possibility of water infiltration;
Double built-in 1/2" & 3/4" drywall return for easy interior jamb extension installation;
Thermo pane located over 25 % further inside the wall than any 3-1/4" frame. This allows for increased wind load resistance, optimum thermal performance and reduced condensation risk;

4602 – 6 1/2" Frame. Designed to maximize condensation resistance, positionning the thermopane in the warm part of the wall.

Thermo pane located over 50 % further inside the wall than any 3-1/4" frame. This allows for increased wind load resistance, optimum thermal performance and reduced condensation risk;

Sealed unit

The sealed unit is an important component of a window. Here are the 3 elements used in its fabrication:

A glass on which a coating is applied, called Low-E, allows the sun’s warmth into the home and use it as a free and sustainable heat source.
Inert gas, argon, fill the space between two panes, reducing conductivity.
The new Technoform spacer, also used to build curtain walls therefore much stronger, aesthetically improved thanks to its black color and the best overall high performance spacer.

Glass type

Double Low-E argon

Combination of 2 glasses of 3 to 6 mm, depending of the size, for a total thickness of 7/8’’, complies with the Energy Star standards.

Triple Low-E argon (option)

Combination of 3 glasses of 3 to 6 mm, depending of the size, available with 1 or 2 Low-E coating and argon gas between each glass, fighting the harsh canadian winters. Soundproof factor is also to be considered when choosing triple pane.
